Notes:
Douglas Fir Bench is a seasonal trail, not so often hiked as other sections of this network of trails. Access to it entails walking up a very steep but short slope, with 71 m elevation gain in only 200 m. Short sections of Johnny’s Trail and the Montane Traverse, together with the Silvertip Footpath complete our loop. Everyone should bring good grippers in case there is a sprinkling of snow on the steep section.
