This snowshoe will be at Elkwood Campground from the Amphitheatre Parking Lot. Please bring grippers in case snowshoeing will not work. We will have lunch at Peter Lougheed Info Center.

This is a moderate snowshoe down to Marushka lake. The trail is generally open with two wooded area sections ending at a pristine lake. The challenge is that most of the elevation gain is on the return leg of the snowshoe as we climb back up from the lake.
