Weather should be conducive for a gripper walk to Boom Lake. Poles helpful. Likely stop in at Storm Mountain Lodge for a coffee following. Outhouse at trailhead, which is about 7 kms SW of Castle Junction on Hwy 93. As Alan would suggest, bring bear spray.
