This hike starts on the popular trail leading up through forests to Chester lake. The grade is steadily uphill, easing at the lake. We will then continue uphill to the Elephant rocks and then on to Three Lake’s valley with the intention to have lunch at the first lake. There are some steep inclines but no exposure.
