Constant climb for 1.3 km from high elevation area so we’ll do many stops along the way On the recon it took 75 min to reach the Lake but only 50 min to return It ‘s an equestrian trail so great when dry but we’ll cancel if it’s wet beforehand.It’s a beautiful alpine lake surrounded by sharp rocky avalanche chutes, and we’ll be going to the head of the Lake.Lunch will be at one of the most beautiful luncheon spots ever created (the group area at the backcountry campground)
bring lunch ,POLES ESSENTIAL , and remember to extend them when going down the slope
ps It’s a long drive along K Trail
