Notes:

The Homelessness Society of the Bow Valley (HSBV) is a local, non-profit organization with a mission to provide support and programs for folks who are unhoused or experiencing housing insecurity within the Bow Valley.  This is done through our two core programs including our emergency winter shelter and outreach program.  Join this presentation to learn more about the organization, our programs, what housing insecurity looks like in the Bow Valley, and organizational learnings.

About Jessica Klaric:

Jessica Klaric is the Executive Director of the HSBV and has been with the organization since January 2023.  Living in the Bow Valley, Jessica recognized a need for support for community members experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness.  Jessica is inspired by HSBV’s values and initiatives, and is proud to be a part of such a dedicated and motivated team.  Together, the HSBV team is working toward a shared mission and vision to support and advocate for individuals who are without safe and warm shelter.  Outside of HSBV, Jessica sits on the Board of Directors for two other non-profit organizations in the Bow Valley and in her spare time, Jessica loves to be outdoors in the beautiful Rocky Mountains hiking, camping, snowboarding and paddleboarding!
