This will be a “spiral tunnel hike” combining Paget Lookout – a good railway viewpoint – (520 m; 7 km) with the Sherbrooke Lake trail (50 m; 6 km). There will also be brief stops at the Lower Spiral Tunnel Viewpoint (on Highway 1) and the Upper Spiral Tunnel Viewpoint (on Yoho Valley Road). Moderate outing with some Rockies railway History (Copying John Martland’s hikes from the past few years)
