We will take the gondola up to Sunshine Village and the Standish Chairlift to begin the hike. Each hiker will need to purchase a ticket for the gondola if you do not already have a seasons pass. For a Senior 65+ Bow Valley resident it will be $32.50 plus GST, adult Bow Valley resident it is $35.00 plus GST, Alberta resident is $59.00 plus GST. You must bring ID (drivers license) to get the discount.
We plan to hike from the Standish Viewpoint across the meadows to Monarch Lookout, onward to Simpsons Pass and then via a cutoff trail to the Healy Creek Trail which descends to the Sunshine Parking lot. We do not plan to go to Healy Pass.
