This is a 7 km hike. There is one steep grade that definitely requires poles & a couple of easier ones. The rest of the hike is an easy one past Reed, Hilltop & crescent lakes & through a popular treed area. May be cool in the morning & if frost on the ground, may be a little slippery in spots. Bring bear spray & you lunch & dress for the weather.
