Notes:
Forecast of discharge for Kicking Horse River suggests we should have near flood flows over the falls (see URL)
This trail is mostly rolling around a steady elevation with a steep descent and climb back up near the end to view the falls from below. At flood time this is hardly worth the extra effort as the river may extend into the forest.
The group can split at the upper viewpoint during lunch, with the more energetic descending with a leader while others eat, take pictures, and pursue other interests. Details TBD on day on site. There is a good side viewpoint part way down on an alternative access. Again, TBD.
Long drive, but worth it for moving water enthusiasts! Several points of interest on way back if anyone interested.
